The engine runs like it's brand new with no issues - potential buyers are welcome to start it cold as proof. It does have a few small cosmetic issues - the clear coat is hazy and needs to be buffed out, there are a few scratches/parking lot rashes, the driver's seat has a tear in the seam of the leather, and the power seat memory button mount is broken (but the buttons still function perfectly!). There is zero rust or rot on the truck, the rocker panels and rocker supports are rock solid. The truck runs and drives 100% very simply put this truck runs, drives and looks absolutelyaA perfect. buy it and put it right to use it doesn’t need anything. It is also equipped with a heavy duty alternator dual batteries and has the limited package with all the options available for the model year. These trucks were only made with the 7.3 Engine for 2 1/2 years so they are getting extremely hard to find and the ones that are out there either have 1,000,000 miles or are complete rust buckets not the case with this beauty it only has 170k well maintenanced Miles and the body has no dents dings or scratches and the paint shines like new. Seats are like brand new no rips or cracks. AC blows cold , heat blows hot, brakes don’t grind or squeak . the truck has zero leaks and doesn’t burn any oil. Zero accidents or damage, No salvage history and a clean and clear Title. To some it all up, For its age, this truck is pretty much mechanically and cosmetically perfect. There are no odors in the truck because its a non smoker and doesn't seem to have had any pets in it.. This truly is an amazing rig. It flies straight down the road and it doesn't drift when you let go of the wheel. Even though this is one of the cleanest and nicest units I've had in awhile, it is still 17 years old and does have a tiny amount of use and wear, don't expect a brand new truck and we won't have any problems... I said it before and I'll say it again, this truck is absolutely amazing and it's next owner will definitely not be disappointed. I purchased this truck from Insurance company with very minimal damage. I can't believe it was salvaged for this. Only had dents to 2 doors and a broken mirror. Truck was repaired and being sold on a previous salvage because of this. It is in amazing shape. Very clean inside and out and runs amazing. You won't be disappointed. These things are getting hard to find and especially in this good of shape. I got a good deal on it and am selling at no reserve to the highest bidder. So please bid to own. This vehicle was branded salvage when insurance company purchased it from owner. It has now been repaired and inspected and is being sold on a clear Iowa title that was previously titled as salvage. It is no longer a salvage title. It can be transfered in any state in the US as it is now a clear title. Canada and other countries have different laws so please check with them. Also listing states 4 owners this is a little misleading. Truck was a one owner truck up until December 2018 and then was registered to insurance, auction and to myself. It was stripped to bare metal in 2017, and during the next 18 months it was redone in a combination of Tuxedo Black Gloss up top, matte silver (with glass beads) below, and split-up by a hand-painted Ferrari Red pinstripe. But the fun didn't stop there. An aggressive high-flow hood was installed, the billet was powder coated, black step-bars were added, and the rear was de-badged for a smooth look. All the windows are tinted jet black, as are the headlights and taillights, and LED fog lights help light up the night skies. The paint application alone cost $21k and it looks even better in person than it does in our pics, as the 10 coats of clear coat can guarantee. The Ford's been lifted by way of a custom suspension as well, and the way it sits on those oversized 20-inch rims is truly one-of-a-kind. And you'd better believe people notice this monster cruising through traffic and assume someone important is on board. This Excursion is as far from factory-simple as you're going to get inside, with custom black leather on all three rows of seats in an elegant pattern that's accented with red stitching. There was sound deadening material installed everywhere inside, and everything feels simple yet upscale, with plenty of room for up to 7 people. Every effort was made to incorporate stock and light custom features together, so the door panels, dash, switches, custom-painted center console, and even the overhead A/C vents in the custom made headliner are adapted nicely to fit this custom Excursion. All the usual stuff is standard, including the powerful A/C system, power windows, seats, mirrors, and locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, and more. There's also a Sony head unit setup in the center of the dash that sounds great in the well-insulated cabin, especially when it pumps juice into the subwoofer out back.
